just imagine pj's first camping experience.
just imagine the mini hike around the campground, with a failed attempt up the trail because I didn't want to get my shoes muddy.
just imagine how the little man hogged all the room in the tiny two-man tent. sprawled out and cozy.
just imagine the raging fire started with one match and no paper.
just imagine the failed hobo dinners. two layers of tinfoil really is necessary, it turns out.
just imagine the s'mores in our faces.
just imagine a boy sitting in the dirt, eating rocks. happy and content.

I can totally imagine it. I can imagine all the fun, smiles, and laughter that was shared! What a cute fun family!
yea for camping!! we took porter on his 1 month birthday and it was pretty miserable as we learned how to keep him warm and happy and comfy in the tiny backpacking tent. but it has gotten better. we have definitely outgrown the backpacking tent and now own a ginormous, 75 lb, 3 room mansion that fits a queen size air mattress and porta crib and two sleeping bags and an entire other mudroom. car camping is the jam! and i am sure you'll enjoy so many more fun trips.

Oh, I can imagine it. And it will be sooo much fun. Don't forget to take pictures of that experience, too. Oh, and, the red rocks are the tastiest :)
