When I came here to West Texas, I traded in my mountains for a great expanse of open sky. At first I missed my broken skyline. I missed the safety I felt as the Wasatch loomed over me. But now I'm starting to appreciate the flat. The big bowl of blue. The large sunsets that encompass every piece of sky.
