tonight's dinner

I was tired of peter only eating veggie burgers and peter burritos (both quite tasty in their own right, but certainly no way to live), so I decided to make something real for him to eat, even in spite of my cleansing. below, for your viewing pleasure, is the spread of our family dinner.
as you can see, peter had some freshly steamed broccoli, with roasted red potatoes and some pepperjack cheesey eggplant. anna had a lovely blend of lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

yeah, I wonder who had the tastier dinner.

You really need to come hang out with me for an extended period of time (again) and teach me to love cooking! And healthy cooking at that. I'm a big fan of food, but the preparing of it.... Blah! I'm not in the mood often enough. :-(

Or, barring the love-of-cooking lessons, you could just make me lots and lots of freezable dinners because you love me so much.

You should call them Perritos or Peterittos.

One question - are you still exercising while on the Detox plan? I cannot imagine for the life of me how you would have the energy to work out. But maybe you do? Do tell...details, please!

P.S. My word verification word was "imevll" as in I am evil. Scary, but true. I am.

stie, don't worry. I am not exercising. though some people do. I could probably handle light exercise, but I haven't even bothered. right now I'm just laying low.

(yikes! maybe you are evil. the all-knowing blogger does not lie.)

Also, are you down like a ton of pounds, too? What do you think your daily caloric intake is?
